three bathroom upgrade
My clients had recently purchased their new home with the intent to renovate the three bathrooms ahead of moving in. The design goal was to bring a uniqueness to each bathroom but for them to share a common language of refined materials, neutral backdrops with pops of pattern, and a transitional style that worked with the home’s New England colonial architecture. The half bathroom on the first floor was dated, so we gave it a beautiful cosmetic refresh while maintaining it’s current footprint. Upstairs we reconfigured a portion of the floor plan to expand the footprint of the existing master bathroom and shift location of the kid’s bathroom, while also creating a new function for a 2nd floor laundry room. The master bathroom was reconfigured to fit a double sink vanity, makeup station, and large standing shower. The kid’s bathroom was inspired to be a bit more playful, with a green marble mosaic floor, wavy profiled mirror, rattan sconces, and playful artwork.
